Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach
unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"
Romans 10:13-15
Reaching the world with the Gospel should be a vision shared by all Christians.
Today approximately 4.4 billion people are unbelievers. How can you help make a difference?
Foreign missionaries face the mammoth task of taking the gospel to people whose religion, culture, and language are unfamiliar to them. They leave the life they know behind and move to the unfamiliar because they are called by God to serve. For many missionaries, spiritual warfare is a regular part of life as opposition and even persecution threaten them. Through prayer, believers can participate in the ministry of our world missionaries. Please pray for our missionaries; they need us.
"Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities,
against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms ."(Ephesians 6:12)
Here in the United States there is a raging war being fought. It is not a physical war zone. It is the battle for the minds of our children – the control center of their life. Today’s media industry is bombarding their minds with ideas, thoughts, and desires. Their eyes consume hours of television, videos, and internet junk. They hear propaganda that makes them think they need to have certain traits or certain things to look good. They are targets in marketing campaigns telling them they should drink this or take that to feel good. They hear music that speaks about violence as if it is justified, and the list goes on and on. The enemy of our soul is clever; he works to attack our children by inundating their senses. Please pray, and pray hard, for our missionaries here in Duluth and within the United States. They are working to save our children from the Liar and show them the truth.
Giving to Missions
"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this, says the LORD Almighty,
and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.”
(Malachi 3:10)
For the majority of Christians in America, serving God will never lead to worldwide fame, writing best sellers, or ministering to hundreds in foreign lands. Regardless of the work to which we are called, there is hardly a Christian who cannot give, and when that giving is done in love, it exemplifies the greatest sacrifice ever made for mankind: the death of Jesus on the cross.Your faith promise is an agreement between you and God. Please give and watch God work.
