Who is God?

There is one God, revealed in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.” Eph. 4:4-6

Who is Jesus?

Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died to pay for our sin once and for all, rose from the dead, ascended into Heaven, and will return again.

Though He was God, He did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, He gave up His divine privileges; He took the humble position of a slave and was born a human being. When He appeared in human form, He humbled Himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross. Therefore, God elevated Him to the highest place of honor and gave Him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Phil. 2:6-11

Who is the Holy Spirit?

The Counselor, Advocate, Comforter, Intercessor, sent from God to enable believers to live a holy life, set apart for the work of God here on earth.

But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative - that is, the Holy Spirit - he will teach you everything and remind you of everything I have told you.” John 14:26

Who is Man?

Man is God’s beloved creation, fallen because of Adam’s sin, and redeemed only by the free gift of salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ.

Then God said, ‘Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.’ God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” Gen. 1:26-27

What is the Bible?

The Bible is the inspired and infallible word of God.

All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.” 2 Tim. 3:16

What is our Purpose?

To love God with all our heart, mind, and strength. And to love our neighbor as ourselves, sharing God’s glory and love with His creation.

“‘Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?’ And He said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the great and foremost commandment. The second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets.’” Matt. 22:36-40
